ABM Trees works to and exceeds All health and safety pertaining to carry out tree works.
ABM hold £10m Public Liability insurance and £10m Employees Liability insurance allowing us to work on almost any project ensuring sufficient insurance cover. Proof of insurance is available upon request. Under the' Management of health and safety at work' Act 1974 For every task carried out by ABM trees a Risk Assessment and method statement is carried out and provided to the client.
In addition to this ABM maintains and inspects all work equipment used on site following a strict regime laid out by the 'provision and use of work equipment Regulations 1998' also known as PUWER.
All tree climbing and lowering equipment is also inspected on a daily (pre-use) and weekly (thorough) basis as well as external expert inspections which are made every 6 months in line with 'Lifting Operations Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998' also known as LOLER.
All ABM operatives are trained to a high standard and hold NPTC certificates in all relevant disciplines; in addition ABM updates and continuously improves its levels of training and competence.
ABM operates a hierarchical selection of work method to reduce the risk to operatives or the public, in some instances this may involve the use of cranes or mobile work platforms both of which we are experienced in using.
All operatives are First Aid trained.
We aim to reduce the risk in carry out the high risk operation of tree work at height protecting both our operatives and our clients.
All ABM Operatives hold CSCS cards to allow access to construction sites.
